Offline-first infrastructure

Every screen — including data entry — works with no connection. Changes queue on the device and sync when you are back online, and you always see whether a change is synced or still queued. It is the foundation the other three pillars run on.

Crew certification management

Every crew member and every STCW certificate they hold — who issued it, when it expires, and whether your flag state endorses it. Rank-gap and expiry warnings surface what is missing before an inspection.

Vessel certification management

Each vessel's statutory certificates and documents (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC, Load Line and more) tracked against a sourced catalogue, with expiry dates and a register you can search and filter across the fleet.

Hours of rest recording & management

Log crew rest offline, check it automatically against MLC 2006 / STCW rest rules, and generate the signed Table B record-of-rest PDF to hand to an inspector.

Expiry reminders by daily or weekly email, and planned-maintenance scheduling, are included across all of it.

Common questions

Can I cancel any time?: Yes — there's no lock-in. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing: your plan runs to the end of the current period and won't renew, and you keep full access until then. No phone call needed, no extra steps.
What payment methods do you accept?: Credit and debit cards, plus the local payment methods Creem offers at checkout. Payments are processed by Creem as our merchant of record — they handle VAT and sales tax worldwide, so your invoice is always tax-correct for your country.
What happens during the free trial?: Every feature is unlocked for 30 days, and no credit card is required to start. We never charge you automatically — you only pay if you choose to add a payment method and subscribe. You can see your trial status and end date under Settings → Billing.
Who owns the data I put into PivotScanner?: You do. We are a data processor under GDPR; you are the controller. We do not sell, share, or analyse your fleet data for any purpose other than serving it back to you. You can generate compliance records as PDFs at any time, and you can ask us to export or delete your data. See our privacy policy for the details.
Does PivotScanner work without internet?: Yes. Every screen — including data entry — works fully offline. Changes queue locally on the device and sync to the cloud when connectivity returns. Crew on vessels at sea, or in emerging-market ports with unreliable 3G, see no interruption.
What support do I get?: Email support at support@pivotscanner.com, included in the price. We reply within 1–2 business days — our hours are CET, so replies may take a little longer over weekends.
